The present Board of Directors began its term of office on December 12, 2006. All current Directors were elected in the November 2006 mail-in ballot, with the exception of Gaela Nelson and Donna Costa, who were nominated by the Board to fill vacancies that developed during the year. The Directors' positions and responsibilities are as follows:

President: Jo Twiss
Vice-President: Barbara Etcovitch
Secretary: Gaela Nelson
Treasurer: Donna Costa
Communications: Gaela Nelson
Political Action (Federal and Provincial Regulations): All Directors
Political Action (International & Extended Health Insurance): Barbara Etcovitch
Professional Standards: Judi Adema
Public Awareness and Education: Rami Shami

In November 2006, the first elected Board of Directors was elected by mail-in ballot: Judi Adema, Juliana Barnard, Lisa Decandia, Barbara Etcovitch, Brenda Malin, Rami Shami, and Jo Twiss.

The Founding Board of Directors was comprised of: Nathalie Desrochers Allen, Elena Cecchetto, Tammy Colleton, Wendy Friesen, Christopher Gehry, Albertine Phan, and Jo Twiss.
