Canadian Society
of Homeopaths
Receives International HAW Award
Although Homeopathy Awareness Week in Canada originated with West Coast
Homeopathic Society, this year's HAW (entitled Homeopathy for Children)
was co-ordinated by the Canadian Society of Homeopaths. CSH joined over
45 other international groups
and the World Homeopathic Awareness Committee to raise public awareness, understanding, and
knowledge of homeopathy as an effective healthcare option for all ages.
In conjunction with HAW 2006, the World Homeopathic Awareness Committee
has selected CSH to receive an award for "the greatest
contribution towards homeopathic awareness". Our
Board is honoured to receive such distinction by our peers, especially
from among so many other deserving organizations. We appreciate this
recognition and renew our commitment to continue increasing public
awareness of homeopathy across Canada and to support similar efforts
around the world.
This prize represents the participation of many CSH members across the
country. Some were directly involved in displays
and HAW events
and special promotions. There were
also numerous helpers behind the scenes who prepared information packages
for over a thousand public libraries and natural health-related retailers
across Canada. Our thanks go to all the following - we couldn't
have done it without you!
