AWARENESS
Again in 2008, CSH members from across Canada joined thousands of homeopaths around the world
in celebrating Homeopathy Awareness Week from April 10 to 16, 2008.
This worldwide
celebration of Homeopathy Awareness began on the 253rd
anniversary of the birth of Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy
(1755 - 1843).
In Canada, Homeopathy Awareness Week expanded to fill the whole
month of April. CSH members held homeopathic educational
events including free public talks, meet & greets, mini-clinics, information sessions, open houses, and
local media events in communities across Canada. Additionally,
many of our members offered special discounts and draws during the month of
April.
Again this year, CSH held a fundraising raffle to draw attention
to the range of introductory books on homeopathy that are available.
Prizes were those books listed on the back of our Homeopathy
Awareness bookmark, kindly provided
by Minimum
Price Homeopathic Books.
